Welcome to Elves N Ladders! We’re in the business of brightening lives by creating stunning lighting displays for homes, businesses, and public spaces. From our beginnings in 2018, we’ve always been driven by one simple idea: bringing the magic of light to our clients and their guests.
Our journey began when our Head Elf, Zack Marker, decided to spread some holiday cheer by decorating his own home in South Philadelphia. Realizing that he didn’t have the type of home that he could decorate to his liking, the idea quickly evolved into offering his Christmas decorating service to others, and Elves N Ladders was born. Despite starting Elves N Ladders as a side job, Zack’s dedication coupled with his background in designing wiring systems for military aircraft at Boeing brought a unique blend of creativity and precision to our operation.
Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to work with a diverse range of clients, from NBA stars to hotel chains and even city districts, installing millions of lights since our start. We also offer landscape lighting, patio/bistro lighting, and permanent RGB lighting, but our main passion is for the festive season.

Ideally you should book as early as possible. We have sold out every season since we have been doing this! You can never be too early! The ideal time to book is NOW. Click here to get your free quote!

 
Due to the large number of clients we have, we start our residential installations in October and we begin commercial installations in September. If installed early in the season we can leave the lights off until you are feeling festive. Installation dates are first come first served so it is important to book early. We tend to install projects that ONLY have lights (not greenery) earlier in the season since it’s hard for anyone to tell if the lights are even installed until the lights are turned on! Elves N Ladders provides a turn key, white glove service that includes:

    • Takedown at the end of the season

Elves N Ladders specializes in lighting and décor. Our team travels the country to attend trade shows and trainings each year to make sure you are getting the best possible service and products. We hear many stories where people hire non-specialized installers only to find out they didn’t have the proper insurance, used inferior products leading to many outages, or they simply don’t even return to take down the lights. Our goal is to be as non-invasive as possible. We use a variety of clips and methods to attach the lights so that we don’t have to make permanent alterations to the home or property. If we are attaching a wreath, sometimes we will need to use a small screw to secure the wreath. This screw will remain in your home after we take the lights down, so it does not leave a hole in your home. Don’t worry! In order to guarantee the best possible experience we use our own brand of commercial-grade LED lighting and décor. There is a big difference in the appearance and quality of the lights we use versus what is carried in the local stores or on Amazon. Click here to get your free quote!
Packages range in pricing depending on how much lighting and décor is desired. Typically our minimum package would start at $1,000. Our average residential cost last season was around $2000. Maintenance services are included with your package! If there is an issue with the lighting please contact us and we will repair the issue, typically within 48 hours. Some limitations apply. Please contact us for a detailed copy of our service agreement.
